國民黨15日祭出黨紀，開除前台北市議員楊實秋、市議員李慶元、前立委張碩文、立委紀國棟、候補中央委員李柏融等5人黨籍。黨主席朱立倫強硬表示，國民黨絕不容許「打著藍旗反藍旗」、「選前為藍軍，選後跟綠營結合」的情形。
另外，最新修訂的國民黨政策綱領草案，15日也送中常會核備。就兩岸部分，除了保留「連胡五項願景」精神，也將「九二共識、一中各表」納入政綱，19日將提報全代會討論通過。
楊實秋、李慶元、張碩文、紀國棟等人是因屢次在政論節目發表不當言論，攻訐國民黨；李柏融則是因引用不實數據，按鈴申告朱立倫、祕書長李四川、總統準參選人洪秀柱偽造文書與詐欺。
因是不分區立委，遭開鍘的紀國棟將喪失立委資格，由淡大美研所助理教授詹滿容遞補。紀國棟15日回應時說，「我很自在」，並感慨稱，120年的政黨走到現在風雨飄搖，領導人本就該檢討，用這種手段壓制，也是傷害黨，「我會下台，總統會下台，主席會下台，就看誰下台身影比較漂亮」。李柏融也說，國民黨令人失望，19日會出席全代會，盡他的黨員權利與義務。
國民黨19日將正式通過2016年總統提名人，立委席次期盼力拚過半，力保50席仍可樂觀以待。
